Forest Girl Farm is rooted on generational land tucked into the redwoods of Aptos, California. It’s a place shaped by time, family, and the quiet work of tending what has been here long before us. This land has held many chapters, and today, it’s being cared for with intention, creativity, and a deep respect for its past.
I’m Sabrina (although my Grandpa calls me Sabby), a mom of four living a very full, very fast life. School schedules, sports, and everyday responsibilities move at a constant pace. Forest Girl Farm is where I slow down. Not because life is simple, but because it isn’t. The farm is my counterbalance. A place where muddy boots replace hurry and the rhythm of the seasons offers perspective.
Here, growth happens naturally and imperfectly. Gardens are planted and replanted. Projects evolve over time. Edible flowers, vegetables, and small moments of beauty are nurtured alongside family life. Forest Girl Farm isn’t about doing things the quickest way or the most polished way. It’s about showing up, paying attention, and letting meaningful things take root.
This farm exists at the intersection of real life and intentional living. It’s where I reconnect with the land, invite my children into the process, and create space to breathe in the middle of busy days. Forest Girl Farm is a reminder that even in a fast-moving world, there is value in slowing down, tending carefully, and growing something honest.
Welcome to Forest Girl Farm.
Meet the Family
Forest Girl Farm is a family effort, spanning four generations under the same redwoods.
Growing where she’s planted, Sabrina Pierce tends to her flourishing Forest Girl Farm, cultivating four generations of family along with her vegetable and flower gardens. This nurturing homesteader savors the bounty of motherhood, raising four children amidst the fertile land she lovingly tends. Sabrina’s green thumb keeps her roots firmly embedded on the homestead she has grown up on.

With soil under his fingernails, Nico is a man of the land. As the husband of Sabrina, he dutifully tackles any project she dreams up. When he’s not busy on the home front, you can find Nico flipping patties at a popular burger joint. Though his day job is serving up juicy burgers, his true passion is nurturing his small farm. Nico loves nothing more than harvesting fresh vegetables from his garden to share with family and friends.

With calloused hands and a warm smile, Cal Pierce is affectionately known as “Pa” to his grandkids. As the handyman extraordinaire, Cal is the go-to guy for all building and maintenance projects. His expertise shines through in the beautiful redwood patio furniture and planters he mills by hand and sells at local farmers markets.
With a green thumb for gardening and a talent for whipping up delicious Singaporean dishes, Zaharah is the loving wife of Cal and doting grandmother fondly called “Naynay” by the grandkids. Known for her amazing cooking that transports family and friends to Southeast Asia with each bite, Zaharah finds tranquility in tending to the plants and flowers around her home.

A nature lover at heart, Fred has nurtured Forest Girl Farm into the lush oasis it is today. As Sabrina’s grandpa and Cal’s dad, Fred brings decades of agricultural wisdom to the farm. His tireless work ethic and deep knowledge of the land make him the property guru who knows the ins and outs of every inch of Forest Girl Farm.
