In between tasks, I make sure to take breaks and enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof of my farmhouse. It’s a soothing and calming sound that reminds me of the cycle of nature and the importance of water for the growth of my plants.
As the day comes to a close, I reflect on the progress I’ve made and feel grateful for the rain that has nourished my crops and provided me with a much-needed break. As an organic farmer, I am constantly in tune with the natural rhythms of the earth, and a rainy day allows me to slow down and appreciate the beauty and importance of rain in the farming process.
